★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought fried cassava, potatoes, gullgula, roti and duck curry + jalebi.
Cassava was off, potatoes felt as if they were one to two days old, no taste in the thick layer of batter. Usually gullgula tastes nicer the next day but I don’t know how old these gulgullas were because they were dry n tasteless.
Roti was microwaved n wrapped in alfoil so when I opened it was sticky n smelly n I can guarantee that roti was old because it had a smell. Worse experience ever. I had called n told them.. n also identified myself so that they could remember who I was. They said that I can get some potatoes n cassava for free in next visit. I would not go there again even if it’s free.
Please up your game, firstly because you will surely cause food poisoning n secondly you spoiling name of Fijian indian who are doing really great job

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We bought butter chicken and duck curry today followed by chicken samosa. The butter chicken was not as expected i didnt enjoy it at all there was no taste also the duck curry had a burnt taste.
The prices were too pricey as well. I recommend curry house papatoetoe on kolmar road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bloody Samosas are to salty you think that in this day and age you would want to provide quality food. I think a trip to Otahuhu will be on the cards can't recommend. Maybe the owner should listen to comments posted online as they are people's opinions. Instead of writing a heart felt response instead of the if you have an issue... Listen to what customers are saying instead deflection. Reviews are a useful tool and you can use them to your advantage or ignore negative reviews. Pay attention and do better

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered from Hemi’s Curry Corner via UberEats and really enjoyed the idli and the chicken fried rice. This was one of the best idli I’ve ever tried.
The curry chicken I ordered was beautifully flavoured but oily with peasant style chicken pieces which were mostly bone. I’d like to try other dishes as the food is aromatic and tasty. Recommended!

Even though I am from India, I love Fiji Indian food!
We bought a few sweets and a couple of snacks. We were told the boondi laddos would be the best and boy they were good!
My favourite was the dal vada, fiji gulab jamun and the jalebi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NEVER buy food from here. I ordered food and I got back home just to see that they were EXPIRED! The food smelled extremely bad! Had to take a family member to the doctors after food positioning. When we got the shop they did not offer to refund our money as well but we didn’t bother asking as we are currently writing a formal complaint to Food Safety and Consumer NZ

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quality versus quantity is compromised. Ordered lamb curry and prawn curry plus bara. Generous amount of lamb pieces but did not look appealing. Spice certainly did not give a good smell. Overloaded with masala and salt. Can improve on aroma, colour, correct blend of spice n ginger garlic. Prawn curry was okay in taste. They accommodated my request for more chillies but it had more onions and gravy then prawns. The bara they gave me must have been from the day before or sitting under heat as it was quite chewy , however taste of bara wasn’t too bad. Recommend they include rice as many places include rice for the same price. Will I order from here again? Probably not.
