★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will recommend Highabove to everyone if you wanna try something getting upside down, spinning, unusual but cool and fun! All the instructors (Laura, Jody and Maggie) are super nice, patient, professional and they will teach you all the tricks to YOUR body conditions. Love this studio, love the classes but more importantly, love the people in the studio! ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been taking aerial yoga for 7-8 weeks and it's amazing. Actually I've been suffering from migraine for a long time, and I've been receiving a lot of treatment, but it's useless. Eventually, I chose High Above to work out and migraine is almost gone. Teaching and atmosphere is absolutely great. Highly recommend!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High Above is a modern and unique studio in the heart of Hamilton CBD offering a wide range of aerial and fitness classes. As soon as you walk up the stairs, you are greeted with a smile which makes you feel welcome from the get go! No matter what class you attend, you are always supported and encouraged by not only the instructors but also fellow class mates. I am very grateful to have found such an awesome studio to be a part of! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I started going here not long after moving to NZ - it’s now been almost 2 years now and I’m more in love than ever with pole, flexibility and everything aerial.
The studio is beautiful and the atmosphere is super welcoming. There are so many options for classes and they all compliment each other really well. I find myself signing up to more and more new things to the point it’s hard to fit it all in each week!
The instructors are inspirational and so encouraging. Having never done anything like this before (and having limited strength, flexibility and general dance experience when I started) I’ve really appreciated the confidence Laura has given me in my pole and flexibility journey and I’m amazed at how far I’ve come with her encouragement and teaching.
Would recommend High Above to anyone looking for a fun and exciting way to get fit, strong, flexi or just looking to try something new!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High above is by far and away the best pole studio I have been to.
The studio itself is so beautiful, poles are separated an appropriate amount, it's so light and spacious and there's are huge mirrors at the front of the pole studio so you can check your toes are always pointed!
Laura herself is an amazing instructor. She's always creating amazing new combos to try that both help you go over moves you maybe haven't tried for a while and at the same time teaches you new and exciting moves. She also has different options for different levels, for example I'm not a particularly bendy person but there is always a variation of the bendy moves that she can teach me while I await my flexibility to progress.
Also having moved to new Zealand a year ago it was honestly so lovely being able to go somewhere with such a supportive group of people. Everyone at the studio is so welcoming and encouraging and I honestly can't recommend this studio enough!
