About Caveman Fitness
At CORE MMA, we take pride in having one of the most diverse, skilled and competitive teams in the region. Competition grapplers, top local strikers, fitness & strength coaches all coming together to help and push each other. The team training atmosphere really helps to lift everyones level and allows the coaches to keep growing & upskilling also.
Our competitive team has consisted of Hamilton's only UFC fighter, Pan Pacific & Gracie Worlds BJJ Gold medalists, XFC and Hex Championship Title Holders, Oceania, Commonwealth and World Championship level wrestlers, Oceania Sanshou Champions and the IKBF Heavyweight Xtreme Thai Title Holder, King in the Ring and Knees of Fury competitors, NZ Reps for the Asia-Pacific Sambo Championships as well as a team of New Zealand Representatives for the IMMAF Amateur World Championships in Las Vegas, Bahrain & Abu Dhabi and most recently the 2019 IMMAF Female World Champion. We also have many intermediate, youth & amateur level competitors.
But in truth, most of our members simply enjoy the benefits of the martial arts lifestyle.
At CORE MMA we run two styles of grading, representing the techniques of striking via Kickboxing and grappling via Brazilian Jiu Jitsu individually.
We will often take the opportunity to bring in specialist guest instructors, whose unique skillsets & experiences will help to fine-tune or expand your game.
