★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my 55th Birthday at the Highview Retreat with 14 other family and friends - there was plenty of room for everyone, views were amazing and although out of town a bit the taxis were only $20 each way - definitely a must stay if you have a big group and want to be all together!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a special place to stay, the definite highlight of our visit to Queenstown. Each morning we woke up to astonishing panoramic views of Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains. Soaking up the views from the spa outside after a day's exploration was just brilliant. The house is very spacious and well appointed with full modern amenities to cater for large groups. The location is great because it’s half way between Frankton and central Queenstown. The communication was responsive and helpful and we would definitely stay again!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 100% recommend Highview Retreat - we stayed for a week and it was such a great location to base our trip in the Queenstown area. Easy access to central Queenstown via the backstreets (with no queues), Arrowtown, Queenstown Central shops.
Absolutely LOVED the view from my bedroom - it looked straight out over Lake Wakatipu to the mountains / devils staircase and could see (but not hear) the planes taking off. Absolutely stunning!
Very clean, great facilities. Spa pool has the most amazing view out over Lake Wakatipu as well ;-)
