★ ★ ★ ★ ★ That's a warm and "homelike" place. You can use the fireplace in the winter season and share with a family or friends. Good kitchen space and living room, two or three rooms and some units have an ofurô, a kind hot tub.
The staffs are lovely people and very helpful.
There's some bikes that you can pickup for a ride around the lake view or even tho visit the town center.
Good place to enjoy your holidays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s 10:45 pm. We checked in at 8:30 pm. Very tired.
Room is freezing. We have been waiting for the room to warm up. Duvet is summer weight so doesn’t keep you warm.
I have two young children.
Have activities planned for early in the morning.
This is my first time in this hotel.
I would definitely not recommend.
It looks flash from outside. But doesn’t have the basic requirement of warmth in winter days.
Oh ya flush doesn’t work properly either. But obviously that is last of my worry at the moment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very pleasant place to stay. Dining area and lounge on main entry Level. As is second 2 bed bedroom + bathroom & laundry.
Main bedroom, bathroom and shower up flight of stairs. As is second two bed bedroom.
Great views of Lake Wakatipu and surrounding areas. Great spa. Seeing planes coming and going makes for "interesting" viewing.
Staff helpful. Particularly Quan. Came and sorted out wood fire on arrival.
Some aspects of complex are "tired" and need attention. Items need checking before others arrive.

It's no laughing matter. Burnt my fingers twice... putting logs on the fire.
Kiwi humour at its finest.
"Put another log on the fire.
Cook me up some bacon and some beans.
And go out to the car and change the tyre.
Wash my socks and sew my old blue jeans.

And then go fetch my slippers.
And boil me up another pot of tea.
