★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't be put off by the outside, it's actually not that bad inside. The owners are in the middle of renovation hence my 3 stars. It's not a hotel anymore but it's bar is getting busier all the time. Popular with the locals. Friendly atmosphere and ok for kids to come in. They are installing a kitchen and dining room.
- good range of beers at the bar. Ales on pump. Need more non alcoholic choice. Unsure what wine available.
- 2 pool tables, darts and a gaming room.
- limited menu cooked to order from frozen. Clients can bring their own food in.
- lounge area dated and a bit shabby but estate agents could describe it as retro shabby chic!
- smoking area outside and small garden
- prices are low
