★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kamo Hotel was clean and tidy. The staff at the restaurant and the reception were friendly and helpful. Overall a great place to stay on a budget: affordable and simple. The hotel itself could do with a bit of work but it is an old building. Would stay there again in the future. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Could not recommend, staff not particularly helpful, it was cheapish and bed was OK, did not have high expectations, for the price, but fell below those, would sooner use a motel next time. From looking at the previous reviews before we booked I have a feeling standards may have slipped somewhat....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good friendly service, how ever TV in all the rooms dont work, nor the one in communal lounge. Wifi doesn't even work? Basically yr just paying $70 per night to lie yr head on the bed that also doesn't get made up if u stay 2 or more nights. Rubbish wasn't even emptied?? Just 2 replacement towels each night?? Needs big improvements on the room cleaning protocols

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very slow service this evening. Young male waiter had to be asked twice to bring a glass for my beer and water and glasses for the table. The water glasses were smeary and did not look as if they had been sterilised. Our food was nice, hot, well cooked and presented. I have eaten here on many occasions and have always experienced good food and service. One couple seated near us actually walked out - and they were visitors from Australia. Not a good look.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff very welcoming and friendly. The food plentiful, and ok. Not great. Cider and beer were good, but interestingly, they just refill your glasses when you order seconds! Beer to cider in same mug. Am I being petty? Never seen that before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meal was nice and staff helpful but do have a couple of things to mention.
The mushroom side dish was SO small and full of onion. Very little actual mushroom !?
And we have to say the place was cold. Liked the meal enough that we went and got jackets from the car to keep our knees and legs warm but if we hadn't we would have ended up close to being icicles by the time we were ready to leave !
