β β β β β We had planned to stay 2 nights. When we drove into Himatangi Beach Holiday Camp, it felt like. Jeepers this looks fantastic. The Owner greeted us very Welcoming and showed us the Awesome Facilities..(in Actual fact over the the 4 days I was Amazed how very Clean all the facilities were and very 'up-to-date'. .the children's playground catered for all ages, cleaned up daily..heaps for them to play in, the kitchen were s.s.and again clean and plenty benches n sinks etc., washing machines n dryers again excellent. A library to swap books n magazines which I used several times..heaps n heaps of commodities. Staff obliging and nothing is no trouble..(as we stayed on)..The sites were large for Motorhomes, Buses Caravans n Tents...The beach about 5 mins walk up a footpath. Beautiful Beach and Surf Life-saving on Duty over the summer. ..Great, flat beach..Great walks..One of the Better Places we've stayed at. Definitely going back real soon.

β β β β β Only stayed 1 night, but very helpfull lady at reception even though it was quite late. She was full up as it was a long weekend in Wellington but said to us go and have a look and if you find room then ok. We found room and didn't even have to disconect the towcar which is a big help when leaving early due to travel.

β β β β β Friendly hosts, well appointed camp facilities (recent upgrade), bathrooms were modern and kept spotlessly clean. Close to wonderful beach, convenience store, cossie club. Good choice of campsites, no permanent residents.

β β β β β Very clean and well-organised utilities. Lovely place and close to the beach. Campsites and a range of cabins. Easy if you have a dog, We will definitely come back here.

β β β β β Great camp to stay at, clean facilities, well arranged for easy access to hot showers, kitchen, laundry etc. The sites are large and for our group of caravans we were able to wagon wheel nicely. Close to shops (coffee, dairy and takeaways) with great Danish and muffins on a Sunday morning. Beach is great for walking any time of day.

β β β β β Fantastic spot. Stayed here for a night before heading off on a cycle trip. Friendly helpful customer service. Whole park was clean and tidy. Shared kitchen & bathrooms modern and spotlessly clean. Loved having the USB charging ports in the cabin, just another layer of convenience. Have booked to come back with family in tow in a couple of weeks. Thanks!
