★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situated right on the shore of a beautiful tranquil bay. Flat sheltered white sand beach for safe swimming.
The campsite itself is a lovely spacious flat site retreat with very friendly and welcoming owners who have recently added new flower gardens
Communal kitchen and lounge overlooking the bay. Toilets and showers are clean but could do with a little modernisation. Take supplies as the on site shop is limited.
Great local DOC walks including Anaura Bay Walkway and Cooks Cove at Tolaga Bay.
An absolute must stay - highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a brilliant time at Anaura Bay Motor Camp. I felt especially safe because everyone staying there was required to be double vaccinated. The facilities were great! The beach was safe, the people were very nice too! ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great escape to a beach side camping ground. Relax while listening to the rolling waves. Even in wet weather the old school building provides shelter and ample space for cooking and (children's) games. Plenty of work taking place to further upgrade the facilities. After recent storms the grounds are recovering, but don't let that deter you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful spot and quiet campground. Lovely beach to swim at and walk along, and campground backs directly onto this. Very friendly staff upon arrival.
Unfortunately, the rubbish area is very close to the camp sites, and can be smelt strongly from when camping. Not the most pleasant, particularly in the summer!
Still - a lovely area that I would 100% come back to.
