★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Driving along Tangimoana Rd you will pass the blue line and sign advising of the tsunami safe zone. You'll also notice CDEM signage at the junction of Tangimoana rd and Tangimoana beach road.
Turn left at the stop sign. A short distance to the recycle centre and gravel entrance to the Rangitikei river. Looks like a good fishing spot.
If you want to drive onto the beach you need a 4WD. Saw a few cars stuck in the sand, one got pulled out by one of the locals with a tractor. Nice drive out but not much to see if you're not visiting friends.

I also see a little sea pollution here
4 wheel drives easy drive around the beach and dog friendly beach
big wave could surfing.
