★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cool. Only a couple of minutes walk from the main road. Matted only by the disgusting people who decided to toilet along the edge of the track in, 5 separate sites within the track to the baths.( please clean up after yourselves)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw the signage on the way though to Hokitika and came back through. After a short walk, wow what a sight! It is huge! Much bigger and deeper then we thought. Very pleased we stopped. Beware the juvenile graffiti on the informative sign .....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot for a quick stop. 2 min walk. Amazing large area. Shame it has lost its water now, but still worth the visit. Got to give credit to the builders during the depression. Mammouth task.
