★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hidden playground and wide enough walkway for pedestrians, joggers, cyclists and moms with prams to comfortably walk without feeling like there's not enough space to pass.
There are two gas BBQs at the playground with a great view over the water and nice lawn to sit on as well as about three tables and benches.
There is also an outdoor "gym" just off the side of the playground, with the playground consisting of a huge metal bird slide, a flying fox, and a swing.
Lovely walk with ocean views as well as an option to go view some fairy houses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a super peaceful walk, lots of trees and birds about. It's interesting looking at the old air base buildings too. The surface is not all paved so keep that in mind if pushing a pram. Otherwise it's a great walk and the path is wide enough to keep socially distanced from other walkers. If your out and about in Sept/Oct 2021 keep an eye out for the little fairy houses near the dog park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great accessible walkway that follows the coast around the Hobsonville point new development area. A combination of Bridges and paths and open areas takes you past the sculpture walkway and quite a few other interesting things.
Several playgrounds are on the route. It takes about one hour to do the loop if you stop and look at a few things… Easy with kids of most ages.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great public walkway for leisure or exercise jog, bring the kids and enjoy the big outdoor. Do stop by Catalina Bay and enjoy a feed. Look out for Captain Crepes food truck by the Farmers Market and enjoy a delightful French crepe while you are there. Plenty to do and see ?
