β β β β β Nicely layed out campground, only a short drive from town. With great facilities, and was always cleaned spotlessly.
I was parked up in my caravan for 7 months while working at Westland dairy. Perfect place for contractor and holiday makers.
Cool playground for kids to play.
Awesome manager and friendly staff.

β β β β β Wonderful campground. Friendly hosts and great facilities. Loved the free showers that were spacious, hot and had great water pressure. Kitchen was well equipped as was the tv/games room. Braziers, bbq areas and kids playground also provided. Couldnβt get free Zenbu 500MB wifi to work at far end of camp where we were staying, but not a big issue for us as we have an unlimited data plan on our phones.

β β β β β Of my four week tour in the South Island staying in many different motels, backpackers and campings this one was least pleasant and the most expensive one. We were in a block of six units in unit number 2. (My wife and I are early 60βs)
In unit 1 was a family with three kids and a baby. In unit 3 also a young family with two kids and a dog. The walls are paper thin, needless to say we didnβt sleep very well. The occupation of the camp ground was very low and unit 4,5 and6 were empty. Why not allocate units 1,3 and 5, that way everyone gets a better deal.
On the plus side, showers are good with plenty of pressure. Great playground for kids. Looks like they are in the process of beatification with mulching and plants.

β β β β β Great holiday park, close to the main road but tucked away from the noise.
Clean and comfortable beds. Our family stayed in the 7-bed cabin. It's really considerate for larger families to have more than 6 beds!
The playground is excellent, and there are a couple of wagons to push around.
The kitchen and bathroom facilities are clean and easy to use.
Excellent holiday park!

β β β β β Comfy beds and plenty of parking.
New facilities and kitchenette in our cabins were better than expected.
Great playground.
However...
Cabins were dirty with leftover food under one table, spill marks on bench and down fridge, dirty windows.
Towel package wasn't provided in either of our two queen cabins as advertised so on day 2 of our stay we had to ask for some.
Dirty muddy bathroom facilities on arrival which were poorly stocked with paper towels. Facilities were cleaned the next day but not fully restocked. Lights not working and some door locks not working. Due to the muddy grounds outside, toilets and showers got dirty again very quickly.
Muddy, pot holed (uneven which caused me to stumble and fall in the mud during the night trip to toilet) areas that were not ideal to be walking in back and forward to amenities.
We booked a large family group and our cabins were all spread out in the camp which wasn't ideal and strange since I had made the group booking online and then rang to confirm what we were after.
Our cabin had an awful odour, strong food smell or perhaps cigarette smoke? Regardless it was awful. We had to spray the cabin with spray several times during our stay.
Noisy cabins, thin walls, can hearing voices and snoring through the walls.
Overall, dissapointing sums up our stay.

β β β β β Very clean and tidy with amazing facilities. Very friendly staff. Really set up for family and children of all ages. We enjoyed a lot and the kids loved the time we spent there!
Location is also great, not into the town but just 4 Kms away!

β β β β β Small but neat and tidy campground. Only 4km out of town so very convenient if not self catering. If you are, the kitchen facilities are clean and modern, as are the toilets and showers.

β β β β β Such a great holiday park! It has good facilities, plenty of space, a playground for the kids, fire pits & wood available, and only a 10 minute walk away from the beach. Also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who made us feel so welcome. We loved our stay here & would come again.
