★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A shining star all right! Just loved my stay here. I had a beachfront cabin (get one if you can) all that was between me and the beautiful beach were 2 very friendly horses. Check out the glow worm dell directly across the road at night. Very friendly staff. Loved falling asleep in the extremely comfy bed to the sound if waves crashing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unclean, spiders in the room, someone’s old milk left in the fridge and a bed that stopped one from sleeping. Laying on a rock beneath the Haast Bridge would have been more comfortable. I stay in motels often in both islands and have to say, it’s one of the worst I’ve stayed at. Give it a wide berth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed one night. Checked in the lovely lady at reception was very friendly and very helpful. Love the place the animals ❤. Our unit was right by them. Facilities awesome.
Even my fluffy puppies loved it especially by the beach. Definitely be back. And would live until 27 again ? checked out again friendly lady. And the rest of the staff we met and talked to around the park.??
