Overall 4 stars since the chocolate is very good but not exceptional. For my taste the texture and mouth feel of the chocolate is not as good as other NZ luxury ~70% dark chocolate. The 42% salt and buckwheat was better (with the addition of NZ milk powder) and has one a gold award.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love Love Love this Teeny Weeny shop. I went in to get cocoa powder. They didnt have any, however recommended a cocoa drinking chocolate powder which can be used in the same way. Cant wait to try it in baking. Such lovely ladies too. I will definitely be back for a longer browse. So glad I found this gem after it being recommended to me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the stop after lunch to get a chocolate fix. The shop is located beside the large staircase leading to the road from the Market area. It is quite small but does have a see through wall to the kitchen where you can watch them make the treats. The small shop has a fair selection of different chocolates in a myriad of different forms. I tried their hot chocolate. The marshmallow that came with it was good. I had a choice of chocolate or blueberry and I went with chocolate. The hot chocolate itself was quite dark. It had quite a strong flavour that was almost too bitter. It did mellow out when it cooled down a bit.
It was a nice stop to look at interesting and tasty chocolates.
