โ โ โ โ โ take this review from a 76 year old that has had F&C from many shops over the years . The fried Monk fish with chips is by far the 100% best F&C my wife and I have ever had. it doesn't get any better than that! That's our opinion and I hope everyone else enjoys the same experience as us. top marks to Hooked!

โ โ โ โ โ The batter on the fish was overcooked and very brown but soggy inside. Chicken way too crispy too, tartare sauce was nice ! Wonโt be back !

โ โ โ โ โ Wow, this place is a lesson on how not to run a takeaway shop. Pay for the (previously phoned through) order, wait 15 minutes and ask the disinterested girl on the counter when it'll be ready.... To get "what was your order again?"... Difficult when there was me and two other customers to keep track of things. Really sloppy.

โ โ โ โ โ quality fish and chips, the fish is the best in rolleston, really yum, meat patties are the old school style, all meat not full of potatoe, chips a tad average compared to other offerings.

โ โ โ โ โ Not too bad a place for Fish and Chips, price is fairly average. The Fish actually tastes like fish and is not overwhelmed by the batter, and the chips were cooked nicely. Not much of a seafood market, though we did get some good paua mince from them which was good.

โ โ โ โ โ Nice fish and chip shop. Friendly staff and good menu range with good pricing. Not busy when we went but one would suspect its busy as its the closest chippie for this area in Rolleston. There is parking available as there are a restaurant and dairy in the same complex. Have gone more than once.
