Burger was cold and when we asked staff about it the reply was you have eaten some of it
Well how else are you able to find out if its cold
Cold food when it's meant to be hot is an excellent way to get complaints

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sadly our local. 8 times out of ten orders are missing items or completely wrong. The lack of care is shocking especially when you bring the complete wrong order back in and they act like you're in the wrong. Reading an order of 3 items should not be that hard. Pick up your act and do your job properly.

If you guys can’t stock up the right sauces then at least tell the customer before charging them. And don’t put WRONG SAUCE if you don’t have the right one.
I ordered tender crisp burger with peri peri sauce. After charging me the money she said I don’t have peri peri sauce. I said that’s okay. For the burger I specifically said that I want hot sauce. But they put BBQ sauce. I requested twice but instead of saying that they don’t have hot sauce, they put EXTRA BBQ sauce. They end up by saying we can make you a burger without any sauce. Just simply say you don’t have hot sauce & don’t charge the customer for the things that don’t have. This is pathetic. Manager was super rude.
I’m a courier driver and my colleagues and friends usually go to burger king Hornby. I will definitely spend heaps of time to spread the word among my mates. I will tell everyone in my capacity that never go to Burger King Hornby if you are on your lunch break & specially if you are hungry because this is the worst place in Christchurch to get lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was quite slow by most standards. Although I'm starting to feel that most of the drive-thru for these fast-food joints are being prioritized over their walk-in customers? Any insiders can verify on that? The redeeming grace is they have those self-dispensing soft-drink machines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a breakers baller burger to rakeaway. When I got home the burger was missing the extras (onion rings, bacon). It was just buns, patty and sauce! This is the second time it happened to me!
The first time I let it go but this time I decided to go back and let them know. They asked to see the burger, I showed it to them and they took it.
They then made me a new one or maybe just added the missing extras to my existing burger (pretty stingy too).
They did not, however, gave me any free stuff to compensate me having to drive all the way back there. Poor customer service and quality
