★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I deleted my 2 year posts over respect for their struggles over covid. But, will stress that the way they treat women as staff and patrons is very outdated. Change is needed. Maybe upper Europe is the best place for this kind of thinking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and good food! My partner ordered the roast, I had the Thai red curry and our boy had the chicken tenders and chips. Quality, quantity and pricing all very good. Nice little touch with Easter activities for kids and a chocolate when we left. Staff were very friendly and took the time out to check on us and even play for a little bit with our boy. A very enjoyable meal out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haven't been to the Horse and Trap for ages, but it has a good selection of food and beers and the prices are ok.
The ribs were a big serve & other family had the roast lamb, which was apparently very good.
Two fires inside made it a warm & welcome respite from the cold night outside.

A good variety of Tap Beers & food menu with blackboard specials that should cover all tastes.
A little noisy weekdays with a lot of local
construction happening in the adjacent area
but a reasonable level inside.
Worth checking out,the staff are friendly
& like a chat so the service is very good.

Friendly place.
Jason the landlord welcomed me and later sat down for a chat with me and friends.
Like a proper pub, your local where people are pleased to see you.
Excellent food, friendly staff, looked after very well.
I can see why it’s my mates local.
