★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The falls are spectacular, if you want a parking you'll need to arrive early. Late comers park outside on the road. Nice hiking/biking trails keep an eye open for mountain bikes. Be sure to pack water and sun block for the longer trails.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A popular stop from Rotorua or Taupo, the Huka Falls is a roaring beast of a water body with clear blue water racing down the gorge. There are a few lookout points that let you stand over the flowing water and make for great spots for photography. There are also quite a few walking and cycling trails that run through here. If you’re in the area, well worth a stop.
