★ ★ ★ ★ ★ although staff was super friendly and nice, they were unfortunately a bit unorganised with taking orders. I ordered a soup that was taking forever to come. Also, no waiter was ever passing through my table outside so I could ask about it, so I went inside and told one of the waiters. It turned out they never actually got the order for the soup. He then placed my order. After about 50 minutes I finally got my soup. It tasted okay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service, friendly staff and delicious food! Stayed at the lodge for two nights and spent most of the time inside (due to horrible weather) at the cafe/pub. The beef burger was the best burger I've had while traveling throughout the South island. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a bar and a cafe that are both part of the Bold Peak Lodge. We had coffee. Nice place in the middle of Glenorchy. (this place may be also called Sugar Lodge cafe)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a bar, cafe, and lodge. We had a hot chocolate, chai latte, and 2 bakery treats. The sugar levels were over the top. There was no balance at all.
