★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited restaurant several times after Routeburn trekking or before trekking. Everytime, staff was not upto standard, even very unfriendly, watching us as like aliens. This time again but food were terrible at its price tag. Substandard BLT at $21ish came with one of the poorest BLT. I compared the infamous Queenstown's meal I had which was a BLT at $15ish. Still $15ish BLT was well prepared and came with enough fresh contents. I felt we were ripped off. Hope it's not biased and intentional as we were different group, Jaffas. I will never go back there for any reason.

Recommended for camper vans in Glenorchy. If you dine here you have a place to to stay. Really good service and a good night garenteed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called in for a beer . After finishingour beer . Found out you could stay overnight in our motorhome , providing you take advantage of there hospitality. After booking dinner for 6pm, we went back to the motorhome. Around 6 we sat down for a platter for 2 of pork ribs & chicken wings, coleslaw and wedges , Washed down with a wine. Needless to say we asked for a doggy bag . Incredible meal . And DOG friendly must be on a leash.

Don't ask about the "bacon scraps" used in the breakfast. Chewy sausage. Just really average food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quaint hotel located in a beautiful part of NZ. Stopped for lunch which was exceptional. An amazing Fish Burger washed down with a local IPA. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Top marks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a meal here. Chowder was fine, tasted better being outside in the cold watching the sun set over Mt Earnslaw. Beef burger was fine too. Fish and chips good sized portion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a scenic place to be, really enjoyed the setting. My Chowder was too salty and couldn't eat all and hubby's beef burger was dry. And I had to chase after sauce when they forgot. For the location I give 3 stars
