β β β β β Their Twizel Burger is one of the most unique burgers with very reasonable price in New Zealand in my opinion. There is a bookshop that connects with the cafΓ©. They have quite a good collection of books that can be purchased if you enjoy reading.

β β β β β I left my handbag in the cafe over ANZAC weekend, not realising until getting back to Christchurch. The staff looked after my bag, and returned it to the police almost immediately. Nothing was taken by visitors to the cafe and I really appreciate the promptness in getting it returned. Also enjoyed wonderful food and service even though they were short staffed over a long weekend.

β β β β β Busiest wee cafe in Twizel, and for good reason! We had very goooood coffees to go, and your staff were lovely! Awesome to see a cafe bustling like this in a small town and a good selection of different items on offer in the cabinet. Thanks!!

β β β β β Absolutely delightful staff...no worries if you don't want to wear a mask , if people are that scared of catching a cold perhaps they should stay at home. Excellent food, great atmosphere. Big thanks to the young woman with dreadlocks..lovely!

β β β β β Hydro is a great cafe with groovy decor β loving the growing collection of gorgeous plants, very inspiring! ? The food is yummy with vegan and vegetarian options, and the coffee is fabulous. The staff are lovely and there's indoor and outdoor seating. Very family friendly, and the tiny bookshop attached to the cafe is 100% worth your time.

β β β β β Good service, had a good chat with staff about reviews they had in the past, got to agree people can write rubbish. Food was really good, the scones rave-about quality. We were happy munchers with good coffee for our drive. Worth finding these guys in Twizel, follow Google to them! You'll come back for more, like the locals do...
