★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great find, from the outside it looks empty, could be closed. Walk in and you'll see nice food in the cabinet, great coffee and a menu, keep walking through and you have this lovely courtyard. What's not to love?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I stopped in for a late lunch, I got the chicken burger ($7.50) and he got the B.L.T. Sandwich which comes with fries ($15) they were both really good, glad to have some warm food, as there isn’t many options round here. The only reason that didn’t get a 5 was because of the poor service. Both guys were not friendly, one stood at the coffee machine and didn’t even say “hi” or “I’ll be with you in a minute”

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW!! The woman chef/cook mastered my partner & I a wonderful fish 'n' chips meal!! The young kotiro who assisted was also rawe. To those of you who visit the Old Trout I say defs give their kai a go! Ka pai wahine kuki!!
