β β β β β Highly recommend ibikehire. Rented the Avanti 29er on very short notice. Nick was very accomodating and delivered them to my doorstep and picked them up also the following day. Bike was the correct size and in great condition and perfect for the terrain. He even recommended a great route to ride given the terrible weather Dunedin was having.

β β β β β We rented bikes to explore the Otago peninsula at short notice and very totally delighted with the drop off/pick up right in front of our house. Nick even gave us some route recommendations and the bikes included repair kits and pumps.

β β β β β it was an excellent experience to bike otago peninsula. This shop is highly recommended if you are a very beginner of cycling in New Zealand. We could get good tips, courses, and bikes.

β β β β β Great bike hire experience. Got a bike at short notice on a sunday to help kill a few hours on a sunny day. Friendly helpful service with plenty of local knowledge - got a great tip for a route out to Port Chalmers and up a great climb called Blueskin with top views. Bike was a very solid Avanti MTB with front suspension lockout that did the job quite well. Dunedin drivers were fine with bikes on roads so felt quite safe riding all over.

β β β β β I have rented a standard mountain bike to cycle the Otago Peninsula for 2 days. As I wanted to carry panniers, Nick has added a rack to it. The bike was in good condition with efficient gears and was perfect to discover the Peninsula. Also, the bike was equipped with a number of accessories such as pump and a repair kit. Nick provided me with a lot of very helpful local knowledge on scenic tracks (including a map), which enabled me to explore some really beautiful and remote corners of the Otago Peninsula. He came to pick up the bike at the end of my tour at the doorstep of my Dunedin accommodation. All in all, the bike rental was very convenient and I really appreciated the good service. I would definitely rent bikes from Nick again if I come back in the future.

β β β β β Two friends and I rented full suspension mountain bikes from Nick and were very impressed by Nick's service. I have been mountain biking for over ten years and the bikes provided excelled on local Dunedin trails, including the technical Signal Hill single track and trails in Wanaka. We intended to rent the bikes for the entire academic semester at a very fair price, yet had to leave prematurely due to our program being canceled. Nick was very accommodating of our situation and was even willing to provide a partial refund which we are all very grateful for. Thanks Nick! We hope to be back in Dunedin soon.
