β β β β β The Greatest Restaurant in the Hutt, maybe Wellington. Im so disappointed I've just found this place when it's been going for years. It's an experience, heaps of fun, and the food is great, Just don't wear white.

β β β β β The steak and prawn were nicely cooked and teriyaki chicken was tasty. Good portioned salmon sashimi. However, Not recommended in overall. Over priced for the quality and portion of the food. I was expecting a high quality food but quite disappointed. They tried to mimic Daikoku in Auckland but their ingredients were way cheaper than Daikoku. The performance was not as good as Daikoku. The fried rice was too salty. The cooked veg was too greasy. I found a few bones in the fish fillet. The restaurant is not well ventilated and you could see and smell the smoke as soon as you enter the restaurant. I would not revisit this place.

β β β β β Very, very expensive for what you get. I got the prawns on skewers ... three prawns per wooden skewer with a bit of mayonnaise. $10 - what a rip. And the skewers themselves were horrible. Bought the assorted tempura - two prawns, heaps of carrot, some aubergine and broccoli - $18. Don't go to this place expecting value for money. Slow service too.

β β β β β Very delicious food, great drinks menu (especially the plum sake) lots of fun and laughs catching an egg and rice in a bowl, pure joy watching the kids faces as the big flames light up and watching the Chef's cook so quickly and efficiently, very professional and Friendly staff. Highly recommended, can't wait to return.
