★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorry but we won't go back. Menu now quite boring and quite expensive. Initial waiter had no idea on what was gluten free. The order was totally wrong and had to be remade.
Good variety of gluten free cakes but menus do not state anything for allergy sufferers.
Used to love the old Buzz.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of delicious food at an extremely reasonable price in a funky venue! What more could you want? Add excellent friendly service and staff and you get Buzz Cafe Resturant in Lower Hutt. For a main, I highly recommend the ribs, but all our meals were amazing. I also had a yummy berry smoothie and a sticky date pudding, all for $44. It also has a good looking kids menu. The venue itself is spacious, tidy and has some cool art on the walls. This was by far my best meal out in a long time and I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this excellent establishment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently had lunch here with my sister and her daughter. Love this Cafe, Restaurant & Bar. The service was great, very friendly. The food was good. I ordered the Chunky Seafood Chowder with sweet peach tea. The chowder was piping hot, creamy, rich with a good amount of chunky seafood, however only downside, it could've done with a little bit more seasoning, the two piece of toast that came with it was great, not buttered but it would be nice if there was a little butter on the side so I have that option. The sweet tea, was amazing, fresh and not overly sweet. My niece ordered the ham and cheese toastie with chips. She ordered two. The Toasties were a little bit on the small side but overall she loved it. My sister ordered the beef nachos, it looked amazing even though she waited a for a while before it came out, we were almost done with our food when it was finally brought out. The nachos was served on a hot plate which was placed on a board. She was told to be careful as the plate was hot however when she got to eat the nachos it was lukewarm. The highlight would be the desserts. Both myself and my niece ordered the carrot cake and WOW just a delight on the pallet. The serving was very generous and loved every bite! My sister ordered the strawberry cheese cake. Her assessment, it was creamy, delightful and it just melted in your mouth with every bite! Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere, the service and food. Would recommend to anyone to go check it out.o

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Buzz Cafe today. Was a great experience with beautiful food and customer service. The coffee was delicious as well as the yummy Nutella thick shake I got ? also purchased their version of a big breakfast my husband loved it! I got eggs Benedict it was delicious with great flavor eggs cooked perfectly. My daughter got the kids pancakes great amount she loved them! Cheese scones were light and fluffy. The gentleman who was seving food was lovely and my daughter adored him even went and thanked him and gave him a hug. Thanks so much for our amazing first visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time visiting Buzz cafe today for a late breakfast/early lunch and ordered the Steak N Egg Meal. The eggs were a little overdone, and the steak a bit chewy but mostly a solid meal. The description of the meal also mentioned a mushroom sauce, but it turned out to not be a sauce and was more like sautéed mushrooms. Also had a oat milk iced mocha which was very good. The service was amazing, and the food was delivered in a timely manner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time dining in at Buzz and the customer service was okay, seeing as its Level 2 they kept to the level 2 rules which I appreciated. Now the food… my butter milk chicken burger was a bit salty but great presentation, I got the Buzz Breakfast with no bacon and it was nice very filling and great combination of all my favourite breakfast foods on 1 plate only con was the toast pieces were soggy. But other than that a great coffee and ice chocolate was AMAZING!
Would definitely visit again and try more things on their menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to the Buzz Cafe for lunch. It was pretty busy. Considering how busy, it was well serviced and the food came out pretty quickly. We ordered the Buzzer breakfast. Eggs, kransky, mushrooms, tomato, hash brown, bacon, spinach and toast.
The eggs were perfectly poached.
A great meal with great service.
