I suggest ringing in your order, or when you arrive, call and talk to the guy as he takes phone orders before people waiting to order. We arrived and were already ordering when he stopped to answer a phone in order that lasted 5 minutes. And then again for another 2 minutes.
He was working there alone. Not sure why but he should seriously employ someone to help him since he's so busy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a great deal here for scallops! They cut them in half & get charged $2.50 for half a scallop!! Ridiculous!! Fish & Chip shop owners that do this should be done for profiteering

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst fish and chips I've ever eaten. Inconsistency with salt and my main gripe being that all 3 of my potato fritters were undercooked; raw potatoe! Yuk! Tried microwaving to cook them through but it was just too raw. Also my wife's hotdog was undercooked also!
It was my first and LAST time getting food from this shop. I hope the owner reads this and lifts the standard. REALLY disappointed ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have had reasonable food in the past. Yesterday my fish order tasted unpleasant and oily, and the potato fritters were soggy with oil. Will now go back to my favourite chippy Go Fish in Petone, a family run business with consistently good product for many years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The raw mussels were amazing! Please keep doing them. They were huge! You just cant get export quality mussels like these unless you are in the tide yourself. We are so used to buying tiny little mussels from a supermarket or in a restaurant! Your mussels were worth every cent at only $19!
