★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local fish and chip shop. Friendly service! Great choices for fish types and you choose battered or crumbed. The hot chips are always crisp. Try the jam donut with chocolate explosion!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First fish was okay, a bit overdone. Second fish tasted funny and smelled of ammonia. I thought I was imagining things and had a few big bites but they were awful. I emptied the flesh out of the batter thinking it would be okay to eat the batter. It tasted okay but then I smelled it and I had to pull my head back quickly. It smelled strongly of ammonia. Now looking it up on Google, it says that the fish is in the state of decomposition if it smells of ammonia. I hope I don't get sick tonight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute scam artists. I asked for a piece of fish ($3 on the menu). They asked what fish I wanted and I just asked for the most popular one. They gave me hoki. Hoki was $6. I was not informed of this until I had to pay. I had to pay because I had other things in the order for other ppl. Not only this but the fish was rubbish. I picked it up and the fish fell out of the crumbed outside. Couldn’t eat if because it fell out. Also my crabstick was undercooked. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New owners and found staff rude. Signs about checking order and buyers fault very off putting. Good fish in cabinet. Was better service when students worked here. Parking tricky. Better manners and sign removal suggested.

One scoop, more like half a scoop, overcooked and brown.
Two fish, only the size of the palm of my hand and smelt fishy as though it had been left out all day.
A tray of fried rice, small tray only half full and six bits of chicken.
$25 don't waste your money here, if I could give a zero star review I would.
