Staff were considerate of my wishes and courteous in sharing their professional opinions.
I am very happy with the results.

I took my G-Shock watch in for a strap replacement. I don't live in the area, but took my business there based on a friend's recommendation. I was told that there would be a delay, due to Covid related issues, but they had my details and would call me with updates.
After two months I stopped in and asked after my watch. The employee who served me stated that it was still in Auckland, but they would call me when it was ready.
Four months after this I was back in the neighbourhood, and asked for my watch. The staff member told me that it was still away, but that she would call and find out when it would be ready. The following day I received a text message stating that my watch was ready for me to pick it up.
I was finally able to get my watch back after six months and two weeks. At no point was I offered an apology for the incredible delay and the complete lack of communication, and I was charged $89 for the pleasure.
I would not recommend Ilam Watchmakers to anyone.
