Formule de location de kayak à la journée avec du matériel bien vieillissant.
Nous avons eu un briefing sur la sécurité à bord d'un kayak (ce qui est tb) sauf que le kayak était fissuré sur le dessus (l'apprentissage de savoir retourner un kayak perd tout son sens !).
Le personnel est peu aimable : aucune recommandation sur la météo locale (vent et courant au cours de la journée), ni sur la durée par rapport aux distances et à l'intéret des lieux...
Bref, le client est vu comme un porte monnaie sur pattes !

Day kayak rental package with aging equipment.
We had a safety briefing aboard a kayak (which is tb) except that the kayak was cracked on top (learning to know how to return a kayak loses all its meaning!).
The staff is unfriendly: no recommendation on the local weather (wind and current during the day), nor on the duration in relation to the distances and the interest of the places ...
In short, the customer is seen as a wallet on legs!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an awesome experience with independent guides. We arrived late after taking a wrong turn but they were happy to take time out of their day to do another safety briefing for us. The briefing was very informative and well worth the time. The kayak, carbon fiber paddles, skirt, paddling vest, and jacket were in great shape and very comfortable. If you're looking for brand new, off the rack auxiliary equipment (water shoes, gloves, etc) this might not be the place for you; they provide all of this, but some of the extras have seen a little love. There are plenty of dry bags to keep all your equipment dry too. At the end of the day, we overshot our return time a little and expected to be pay a late fee. Mitch was there to pick us and the kayak up and was just happy that we'd had such a great time. All of this, and they're the cheapest option to boot.These are good people, and I absolutely recommend hiring a kayak from them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic day out on the kayak exploring the Abel Tasman. All the gear supplied (wet bags, water boots, rash tops etc. ) and all in great condition. Great chat and a enjoyable safety briefing for once from our instructor Mitch and his cute little kitten "Manuka" 10/10 would rent again!
