★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great discovery. One of the coolest campgrounds I've stayed at. Superb tent sites, amazing amenities with just a lovely atmosphere. Just a lovely place to chill. Very good cafe next door.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We camped here for two nights and loved it. Multiple clean kitchens with everything you could possibly need, spacious showers. Many chill spots in the form of hammocks to be found at the campground!
Coffee, ice cream, cold bevvies and basic food supplies for purchase at the office. In the evening there’s a little food truck serving pita’s and mezzes.
I didn’t even mention the location and view yet... This place is a true gem!

I stayed in a 4-bed dorm which was basic but all you need & comfy bed.
Amazing staff - I had great service by all specifically Ronnie - very evident she loves her job and made everything super easy!
Much appreciated - I’ll be back one day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved staying at The Barn and meeting new people during my stay. The facilities were always super clean and spacious. Staffs were ever so friendly and always helpful. Honestly was very hard to leave after 5 days in Abel Tasman and will definitely come back in near future ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to stay in Marahau! Travelled around the South Island for just over a month in a camper and this was mine and my partners favourite place. Chill vibes. Really cool communal areas. Beautiful scenery. A must stay if going at Abel Tasman!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here the night before and after walking the Abel Tasman, there were two families with young kids. We hired a family cabin & the beach bach & highly recommend. Was lovely to be able to cook a big hot breakfast before our walk & enjoy the outdoor bath after the walk at the Bach. Family cabins were clean & warm. Kids loved the common room & the Easter egg hunt! Great facilities, super friendly staff that went over & above. Highly recommend The barn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic holiday with our family. Chosen because our well controlled dogs were allowed. A fantastic camp with a great food van. Lots of activities to take part in or just relax with the beautiful views. There are lots of amenities which were all kept spotlessly clean. Thank you for a great holiday.
