★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best campgrounds we have ever been. Great facilities, open spaces, plenty of nature, a gorgeous fresh river to swim in and a short drive to the beach and cafes. Only 15mins to the busy kaiteriteri. This is a true caping experience :)

Found this place, was totally idyllic, next to river camping, really spaced out campsites, great facilities all round, relaxing place.
Friendly staff, will definitely recommend to all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thought it was just delightful. Plenty of powered sites as well as unpowered. Lots of trees for shelter and privacy. And the cabins are kept clean and spacious. The tent sites have a double or queen as well as bunks so great for families. There are a couple of cafes near by so you can get your daily fix and the beach and water activities are case by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staying here was the highlight of our trip. The campground is full of native birds and has a very charming layout, not just a big open field like other camp grounds. The facilities are generous and clean. Great location near the start of the AT walk and the local beaches too. Will return.
