★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great facilities and good service in general however my girlfriend moved cities nearing the end of her 6-month subscription and emailed the gym notifying them she wanted to end her membership they came back to her saying she would incur a $150 fine if she chose to leave which was approximately what she had left to pay or continue her membership to its conclusion. she then had to pay an extra 2 payments before realizing on the website's terms and conditions that there is a buy out fee of $150 or 25% of the remaining balance which was $37. we have now ended the membership and will potentially have to pay another payment as there is a 10 day notice period before you can end your membership. I am surprised and disappointed that she was not given this option when she requested to leave in the first place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I joined inspiring women when my baby was 7 weeks old. Having the on-site childcare was the reason I joined. It’s been great knowing that my child is well looked after while I get a bit of time to myself. The team is always welcoming and friendly and the gym has everything I need to have a good work out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been trying to cancel my membership for the past week as my membership expired in January. I emailed twice, called in and left a message, messaged them on messenger and commented on their Facebook posts about contact and didn't hear back even though they had seen my messages. Walked down on my lunch break to cancel in person and got told I had to call a hotline to cancel it myself. Now I've had to pay an extra payment because its a week later and i also have to give another 10 days notice. Another $42. Pretty stink as I was one of their members who paid my membership throughout the lockdown and I've been trying to contact you for a while

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been to quite a few gyms over the past 5 years but Inspiring women’s was my first women’s only gym. I was so impressed by the workout gear the team has, there is always plenty of weights & equipment for me to do heavier lifts. The new foam gym floor is amazing for supporting said lifts too. The classes are lots of fun and it’s easy to find your way around the website to plan future workouts using the timetable. Kirstie has recently renovated the interior and I love the direction she is taking her vision towards, the gym just keeps improving every time I step in. If your considering a women’s only gym I would strongly encourage you, it’s such a safe space which makes it easier to build confidence and there’s even a daycare room for mothers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Things could be better. Every issue I had was around lack of advance notice of changes. An email/text comms relating to service changes would go a long way. For example, finding out on the day there was now a booking system in place for classes and having to be turned away. Or failing to advise customers who haven't recently been in person that there will be a class close out period for nearly a month. I only ever used the gym for the classes and I found this information out by chance from another member just before the close. Failure to give advance notice of the fundamental service change meant I was unable to make an informed decision around my membership as to whether I wanted to opt in to those changes and where I did not, comply with their cancellation period before the service changes took place. Flexibility should be given to customers in these circumstances. I requested to be able to freeze my membership until classes resumed and was denied. I was also then subject to the 10 day cancellation period which also wasn't made clear. When trying to dispute my experience with the gym I felt brushed off and then was blocked. It's pretty obvious to say that customers paying for services have rights too and their actions related to this put them into dubious territory with the Fair Trading Act.
Outside of this I wouldn’t fault the day to day experience and the staff are generally amazing.
Out of respect I'd have preferred to address this feedback with the company directly, but blocking me felt pretty hostile. I sincerely hope they take this on board so that future customers might benefit and I wish them their continued success.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently joined this gym and I absolutely love it! Inspiring women’s gym has such an amazing atmosphere and I have felt so supported from the amazing staff. Jo, one of the personal trainers made me feel so welcome and she was so understanding and respectful of my goals and what I wanted to achieve by joining this gym. This is gym has a wide range of good quality gym equipment, if you are new or unsure how to use anything the staff are super helpful with teaching you. I love that the gym is split into three spaces so you can always find a quiet spot with a bit of privacy. I couldn’t recommend this gym enough! ?
