★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First Class Accommodation. We arrived freezing cold, having been snowed, rained, sleeted on. Kathy greeted us with towels and a warm smile. She took our clothes and washed and dried them. She lit a mahoosive fire for us in the living room..did us a hugh cheese board for lunch and because the pub was shut for evening meals Kathy shared her and Tony's beef stew with us which was to die for. Excellent hosts and beautiful lodge. Deffinately recommend staying. Gill and Paul UK

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely accommodation. Spotless, nice rooms, huge lounge area with drinks and tea/coffee making facilities. Bathrooms are great. Views are lovely. Hosts are friendly and very helpful. Shame I'm only staying one night. Perfect location for the trail trail and only a short walk into the village.
If happily come stay here again.

Great back up from hosts for food arrangements
TERRIBLE FIRE PLACE constantly smoked up. Had to keep windows open in freezing cold to get rid of smoke.
Update: Fireplace issues where from approximately 2020.
I am happy to report the owner says the fireplace has seen the light and has stopped smoking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful accommodation. The only.down side.was.leaving.this amazing.lodge to go.to.the local pub where we were served by a barefoot.waitress with mediocre food which was overpriced.
Inverlair lodge is a amazing place and i highly recommend you stay there if doing.the rail trail
