★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to take children or grandchildren in my case, to play shop and a climbing tower with a good sized slide. Swings have bark as safety fall which is nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you get the opportunity to freedom camp with your motorhome/caravan. It's a great place to park up. There's limited room to park so first in first serve. But strongly recommend staying here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What’s not to love about 15 Motorhome overnight parking spaces, with a dump station, fresh water, a rubbish bin & toilet? There are numerous Day parking spaces too. Then there’s the paved footpath for walking or riding along the beach area, the wild tempestuous sea & the unspoiled area. A rare piece of NZ that’s still original in its Bach by the Beach state. It has modern touches too, that gives it a contemporary feel, for those wanting a little bit of comfort. I was super impressed by the facilities the council here have provided. 10/10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice open area, the playground is appealing for the kids, the dump station is useful for camper vans. Otherwise it's a place to park when you go to the beach, or slightly nicer to walk through than the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean toilet, lovley playground with shade, nice flat bike and walk path. Felt very safe staying the night as houses right across the road

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately we weren’t able to stay here as a few of the campers were taking up several spaces. Has a great playground for the kids, dump station, fresh water and a toilet. Just a short walk to the water.
