★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little spot to launch a boat or go for a swim at the northern end of Tauranga harbour.
Also has a little jetty for fishing, swimming, docking. Deep water channel very close by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tanners point is a lovely, quiet community with a small jetty,boat ramp and public toilets. Being the owner of a large trailer boat,I prefer this ramp as I can launch and retrieve at any stage of the tide. The concrete ramp itself is wide with a gentle gradient. Launching and retrieving is done off the right hand side as the end of the ramp and the left is very shallow. Also during the summer months,kingfish are caught off the jetty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice spot, 10 minute walk on the track between the carpaks. At low tide kids will have fun exploring the bottom of the tall banks, the trees hanging down to the water, finding shells. It is also provides a lot of shade for water play in summer at high tide.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely spot mid way along the Tauranga Harbour. Good sealed road leading to a boat launch ramp with ample parking. Lovely grass resting area with a good table & large rubbish bin. Nice and peaceful place to relax & look at the harbour & have a few sandwiches.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All tide boat ramp, public toilets and short coastal walk through remnants of Pohutukawa forest....a Pestfree project operates here, so good birdlife, please keep dogs on leads to protect ground nesting birds. Tracks etc created and maintained by local senior citizens, volunteers of all ages & abilities very welcome to assist.
Petanque court under the trees, players meet every Tuesday & Thursday morning, bring your own thermos, anybody of any ability welcome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite a good boat ramp and a good warf there however the parking on some days can be a real pain as there is limited space for parking a trailer with your vehicle. Other than that it can be a bit busy but it's hardly too busy that you have to wait for people to leave the ramp before backing down. A good place for fishing off the warf or to drop your boat off at.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful spot with a lovely reserve area with toilets, lawn and parking. A boat ramp included. There is a lovely coastal walk right around the headland with stunning views out over the harbour.
