β β β β β We each had the daily roast which for $35 also included desert. The roast pork meals we had were well seasoned, well cooked and amazing to eat. Very good sized portion also. Desert was peach Melba which included fresh peach, vanilla bean ice cream, marscopone, compote, and Melba toast. It was a big portion for desert and we shared. I highly recommend the Fox. Staff were attentive and very polite. A lovely afternoon.

β β β β β Fantastic place!! The bartenders are awesome. Tons of great drinks. Warm atmosphere...all ages having fun! Recently renovated and very cool looking inside. It is tucked back in a corner and I think sometimes it may be missed, unfortunately.

β β β β β The staff were awesome but the 40th birthday with at least a dozen kids who over took our our table and then rudely placing the birthday cake on our table was Incredibly rude, especially when it became evident one of those involved in the party was part of the establishment. Which made their behaviour even more arrogant. They even proceeded to blow the candles out while my husband was sitting at our dinner table. As if it was their right to do this.
We were seated in this area and this was not roped off area for a private function!!! If it wasnβt for the random strangers who could see how uncomfortable we were with being surrounded by this private party and offered for us to sit at their table I would have left this bar.
I too was out celebrating my birthday. We are visitors to Auckland to celebrate my birthday and I wouldnβt recommend this restaurant to anyone. We chose this bar to watch the rugby, have something to eat and have a celebration drink. Definitely wasnβt expecting to be treated this way. To the person/owner? Do you think this is appropriate behaviour?

β β β β β Great everything, location, service, staff, heaps of television screens catering for all sports. The Sunday roast was on point. Great environment and atmosphere. 12/10 above and beyond.

β β β β β We had a great evening. We had shared nibbles of fish, bhajis, and chips and we had a lovely gin tree.
The staff were rushed off their feet, being St.Patricks day, and they did a fantastic job of keeping up with everything so a special well done to them.

β β β β β Amazing vibes after the refit. Friday games at Fox are fun to watch. The manager was super attentive, while rushing back from DJ he took our order from our table, had a quick chat, and brought the EFTPOS to our table for payment. Very good customer service. One of the lady bar tenders is very pleasing to talk and attentive. She has gained super confidence in six months at Fox. See U guys again.

β β β β β Great service and great selection of drinks. Gin tree was an excellent choice for me and my friend to share.
We ordered food as well. Fish & chips was perfect however chicken salad was way to grease and chicken nuggets in it tasted double fried.
