★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dropped in here for the first time. The cooked breakfast was a good meal. From the Police having coffee to St Bedes senior students ( recognised by their school tie) this is a very popular venue.
Quick and efficient they staff provided great reviews.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food at fair prices,I had the beef burger .It was tasty,nice made on premises beef patty and buns were nice and fluffy but not too soft.Not 5 stars but I'd be more than happy to go back again for a good feed.Thickshake was good too.Only downer we sat in the entry as we hadn't pre booked (which I suggest as was busy on a Tuesday)and was cold when door was opened and then the heater was a bit intense.Should have sat at bar tables.....but as I say will be back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a very good lunch ? ? and they also have a good evening menu and to update my comments, yes there is rump steak and more on their evening menu. Also there is take out meals also. We'll worth another visit, so, if you are in the northland area in Christchurch, Joe's Garage is not to be missed ? ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we arrived it was pretty busy and the staff were rushed off their feet but any time we had an interaction with a staff member they were full of smiles and friendly. When we ordered our food we expected a wait as thier were 8 people in our group. The waiters and the kitchen really pulled it off and food came out pretty fast, all at the same time and was amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Started off great service however really dissapointed in the food, and the after service. Food not hot, bacon was precooked, fries way too much seasoning, messy, no care. Coffee inconsistent ... was given a ginger kiss from cabnet because " the manager felt bad" shame that it was stale, hard and inedible. Shame because It's normally ok!
