β β β β β Wouldnt make the choice to come back here. The reason I haven't given one star is because the food came out in a reasonable time.
-Staff staring/standing around while we eat
-Squeaky chairs. Like that chilling chalkboard sound everytime a chair was moved along the ground. They could put some sort of covers over the chair bottoms to avoid this. Super annoying and disturbing.
-Furniture rearrange. At rougly 7.15pm (pointing out it wasn't the end of the night) the staff started rearranging the furniture to accommodate for the next group coming in, but dragging the tables and chairs along the ground which again sounds like a chalkboard or feedback on a speaker for about 10-15 minutes.
-Missing food items 5/6 orders came out and they had to go back into kitchen to make a plate up.
-Extra charge for takeaway food containers... when did this start happening? Do all restaurants do this now?
-Chicken Yavo gone downhill.. this used to be one of their most popular meals, but I think since new owners took over, it's gone WAAY down. It's meant to be a creamy Mushroom and chicken sauce atop chips with parmesan. Sounds easy enough but the "creamy" part of this meal was 100% missing. I got chicken & mushroom sprinkled with parmesan on chips. It didn't taste bad, but needed the creaminess as it was very boring and dry.
1 upside. They did take a charge for a drink off the bill to make up for the late/missing meal. It wasn't her drink, but.. thanks?
Would maybe go back if it was takeaway and if the Chicken Yavo had been fixed (as this was the same problem I had last time)

β β β β β My favourite Turkish restaurant! The food never disappoints, itβs always delicious and good portion sizes! I travel down to Palmy a bit just to eat here, couldnβt recommend coming here enough!

β β β β β Have dined here before and been impressed. However, that can not be said for this visit. The food was not fresh. The meat was dry and chewy. The rice was undercooked and soggy. Understand it was quiet but just didnβt think Turkish could be done poorly. Everyone is doing it hard atm but just disappointed neither of us could get through even half of the meal.

β β β β β So yesterday night I went with a group of mates to @kapadokyakebabs .
Itβs Turkish Cuisine, which I havenβt tried before until now.
I ordered the Grilled Halloumi & the Mixed Grill. Wow ? I was hit with a boost of flavour. The halloumi was delicious and the mixed grill was absolutely delicious ?. I loved the rice and the different meats ranges it was perfect. It was sad I couldnβt eat it all though. The staff was friendly and quick service . I would love to go back try out other things as well .

β β β β β beautiful meal. Definitely have the 3 dip plate, some of the best dips we've had. Mains were great and very generous in size. Turkish coffee is really good. Great value for everything
The man who looked after us and did everything and was lovely.
Definitely recommend going there, and we will be returning when we are Palmerston North again

β β β β β A cosy place with very good food and friendly service. I can highly recommend it. When you order an Iskender you have a choice of three sauces, but if you are not sure, the staff will be happy to recommend one that suits your taste. I would seriously consider coming back.

This time we had the mixed lamb and beef salad. I got the small size and still couldnβt finish it
The chicken yavo was full of fresh mushrooms and tasty chicken, and the fries were top notch.
