★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During my cross country days as a pilot this was one airport where most of us used to do touch and go. We used to start from Whanganui and track down south usually on track Nelson, Wellington, Motueka, Woodbourne or Omaka. The AFIS in Paraparaumu are quite friendly. From a passenger's perspective it's a small airport near Wellington with easy access.
