I'm sure whatever was happening at the front counter was really important, when I was the only customer in store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kathmandu stocks some reasonably good quality gear and if you can catch a clearance sale, you'll find many good steals in there. The shop is large and has a wide range of clothing, as well as travel accessories, camping equipment and other essential outdoor needs. There's quite a few change rooms, I've never had to queue for one. The staff in the sho have always been great and polite, have had no bad dealings or bad vibes ever! Just smiles and good assistance. One down side would be the parking in the area, you'll probably have to pay, and you'd probably be best to use the carpark building just south of the store on Great King St.
