β β β β β One of best sushi in the waikato... Used to be owned and operated by an old jap couple but now operated by new Korean owners, still good.
The biggest and best fresh salmon / teriyaki salmon sushi.. Yum

β β β β β Best fresh Tereyaki Salmon sushi in the Waikato. Ensure you get here early as they offer sell out quickly. Lots of range. Very fresh. The owners will make the Tereyaki Salmon sushi to order.

β β β β β Always go back everytime we come home from Australia. Been a customer since my uni days which was 12 or so years ago. The last time we were there I didn't even realise ownership had changed but the salmon and teriyaki salmon are still as big juicy and delicious as the first time! Love this place.

β β β β β The sushi is fresh and the fillings portions are decent. But this is night and day compared to the previous kisso sushi owners, the teriakyi salmon is not tender or blown by a torch instead it is boiled in a pan with sauce which makes it very firm. This sushi is now exactly the same as the other Cambridge sushi shops and there is nothing to differentiate it. I would recommend revising how to make the teriakyi salmon like the previous owners. This used to be a must go to in Cambridge but now its just a sub par sushi shop. You can get this quality of sushi everywhere and it is not worth the trip to Cambridge like it used to be. I would go for the cafe next door or down the street next time I visit Cambridge as it is much more unique than this sushi. The salmon portions may be massive but the texture and taste from years back is gone, big portions won't make up for poor effort and taste.

β β β β β The best as always. Every time I head to South from Auckland, I come to Cambridge just for this sushi.
