★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The coffee is good, and certainly better than across the road. The staff are great as well but, as the name of the cafe would suggest the baking is the star of the show. A few months in now and I've tried a range of different loaves and treats and have never been disappointed. The baker behind the scenes is both creative and consistently excellent. My personal favourite has been the rolling selection of a different daily focaccia breads. Keep up the good work Knead!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grabbed a flat white takeaway this morning, was not the coffee I was expecting to have. Didn’t have much coffee taste and could only just taste steamed milk. Otherwise the pastries I got was really good and tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a wonderful morning breakfast and coffee at Knead.
We ordered the Eggs Benedict w/ Smoked Salmon and an Almond Croissant.
The Almond Croissant was just amazing as it was so soft and the inside was fluffy and creamy. Compared to what I normally think about croissants, crunchy and brittle this was a refreshing take on something so classic.
For the Eggs Benedict, it came as two eggs with a wonderful hollandaise sauce and a good portion of smoked salmon sitting atop of an amazing potato roti that was so cunchy and fresh!
The staff were amazingly welcoming and very attentive. They also had a lot of regular customers.
A really peaceful small area in Remuera to have some breakfast or small lunch and a nice coffee.
(Also, not something I ever think about, but the toilet area was divine.)

Lamington (very soggy at the bottom) and scrambled eggs were not their strongest dishes. Coffee was average (all press coffee…).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best almond croissants I had in Auckland. The almonds at the top were perfectly toasted with a good crunch but not brittle. Flavours were subtle with a hint of nutty sweetness. The croissant itself was well-layered, crunchy but not flaky on the outside and really soft on the inside. The almond paste was just right - buttery, smooth and mouthful but not too sweet. 10/10 would recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great to find a place with a kitchen open so early! Polished yet friendly service. Well executed coffee - allpress in a relatively traditional style. The scampi spaghetti and squid salad were amazing and deserved their higher price (in terms of quality not portion size - which is exactly what we're after).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very much needed spot in the area. Cozy busy Cafe with of one of a kind pastries. One of the best almond croissant in NZ, yes it costs $8.50 but it is so worth it. Full of frangipane and very filling. Try the other pastries, many one of them are one of a kind.
All Press on the coffee grinder and great attentive staff and DOG Friendly! ?
