β β β β β The food taste very good and the serving size for the bento was more than enough. I was surprised with the variety of meat in one bento. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Serving time was perfect. Good view by the window as well.

β β β β β Best salmon ever! Completely unexpected as I just wanted a bento box to satiate my hunger. Was not expecting incredibly fresh perfectly cooked salmon. Honestly can't get over how good it was.
Very polite staff. Incredible view of the lake even on a windy rainy day. I can't imagine anywhere else in that whole stretch of shops could possibly have a better view.

β β β β β Spacious dining space with all friendly staff with a smile on face, complimentary refillable green tea is plus. Not much options for dinner as we would expect. A bit pricey given the portion, taste average. Least impressed with the green salad as it doesn't taste as the seaweed look.

β β β β β One of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever been to! They've got absolutely amazing variety of unique dishes that taste just as good as they look, and they price well too. The staff are also very friendly, and meals are out on your table in a timely fashion, even on busy nights. The restaurant itself is large and spacious with beautiful decor. If you're in Tekapo and want a place to go out to, then I will highly recommend this place, even if Japanese styled food isn't your normal.

β β β β β The staff are all very kind as soon as they get in. It's a friendly service that makes you feel good. It was the best Japanese restaurant I've ever been to. It was perfect for lunch. I wanted to avoid burdensome food because I was traveling, so the best choice!! It was especially soft as the salmon melted lightly. I thought the quality was really good, I want to visit again next time?

We were lucky to get a seat as a walk in today as our last min plans ended up staying 1 night in Lake Tekapo. This is one restaurant not to be missed!
