β β β β β I kept forgetting that portions in NZ are rather larger. Dishes here are no exception and we nearly ordered 3 dishes. We ordered the pork vegetables stir fried and duck curry. They are generous with the meat portion.
In terms of taste, itβs authentically Thai. We asked for the higher spice level. It was delicious ?

β β β β β 2022 and still my favourite Thai restaurant in New Zealand. Ceven if I only get here once a year...
The staff are so friendly and attentive. I only wish I could have sampled more of the menu but there is waistline to consider. The Pad Thai sauce with the spring rolls was amazing as were the Panang Curry Pork and the Pad Satay. My new favourite Thai restaurant in Christchurch.

β β β β β The staff were so welcoming and friendly, the food so flavorsome. I had the pad thai, best i have had yet, my partner had Tom Yum soup and a hot red curry both so full of flavour. Favorite Thai restaurant I have been to so far and highly recommended.

β β β β β Absolutely top notch meal and service with every detail noticed. Not a single thing was off-beat here. This is the second time coming here and Kum Pun Thai's service/food is exceptional and consistent. We had off menu items provided by the chef when asked (also delicious) and the plating was brilliant. Highly recommend to all.
