The meal was excellent, the burger included a nice size chicken breast and tasted yummy, the side chips were also crunchy. Didn't manage to eat the whole meal so took takeaway containers after.

S	Sheree Clark on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trying to support local businesses in this trying time but tonight was a joke. We booked 3 days ago for a table of 17, was told that it was not an issue. Restaurant was fairly quiet except for a couple groups on the bar side and some smaller tables of diners. Our orders were taken within 15 minutes of arriving, which was fine. The hour and a half wait to get said meals was not.. we had 5 young children who were extremely hungry and couldn't understand why we hadn't gotten our food yet. No communication was made to let us know our meals would be delayed or maybe the children's meals should be brought out earlier than the adults. When the issue was brought up with the owner, we were met with nothing but arrogance. We understand times are tough and you are short staffed, but perhaps you shouldn't try and take on to many walk in customers. The owner then proceeded to continue arguing with 2 from our table about their attitudes even though the barman was laughing about the disagreement that was going on. Food was the saving grace in this... common courtesy goes a long way.
G	G Dawson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience today, friendly helpful service.. ..one very happy little corgi, Lizzie, who was able to join us at the table and was made a super fuss of... delicious food, I had an excellent roast vegetable salad with lamb, and my husband had a chargrilled chicken burger, a gluten free menu choice was no problem... We have been before a few times and look forward to going again before too long. Highly recommend...Cheers

Absolutely enjoyed my seafood chowder! It was tasty & creamy with plenty of seafood! The crusty bread was also lovely to dip into the chowder too ??? Definitely recommend if you are after a good feed!

And i have to say that the bar meal we ordered with our beer was sooo big that i immediately ordered a doggy bag . It was tea that night . The service was extremely quick and staff were very pleasant and helpful . And it was DOG friendly the waiter immediately once saw the dog brought out a water bowl.
