★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My elderly Dad has been looked after so well. Well done Rotorua Hospital. You were the same with my Mum, over 5 years ago. So grateful for the nurses and what they do. They are all relaxed and professional in what they do. They create an atmosphere of safety which has been so important for my Dad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hygiene wise, the room you give birth in wont be thoroughly cleaned after you deliver your baby. All the dirty linen will be left in the laundry skip in your room for days or atleast until you decided to be discharged. Cleaners wont even bother to clean your toilet/room. 1

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am disgusted with my recent stay and I was sent home with uncontrolled diabeties and nil medication for crackles in my right lung. By the time I got to my GP I was showing signs of my kidneys and liver not working properly. Being in A&E all day I had to ask for some food. At midnight I again asked for food and was given 1 slice of warm bread (not even toasted properly) a single serve butter nd marmite. I was going to be given blood thinners, until I refused the medication and reminded staff that there was an alert on my file regarding my bleeding disorder.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has been a devine blessing to be able to go to the hospital.
My wife was in absolutely great pain when I took her to the hospital at around 8pm.
It was from the moment I arrived at the hospital, it has been a perfect service with respect, kindness and utmost concern for an individual who was in a great distress.
I just want to thank every individual around the hospital I. E. THE DOCTORS, nurses, janitors, and or even the ward assistants. They were all very very good and their response towards my wife was excellent.
My wife Alpana Goundar had a gallbladder operation and the enter team that were responsible has done a supurb job. I don't know all of them by name but they were all just simply best. The nurses I remember were Deepa and Sally not forgetting others
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My toddler was admitted with RSV and very sick , the care we received was amazing. Because we were from another city the staff organised the Whanau unit for us to stay in, the unit was wonderful and being directly beside the children’s ward took away so much stress and hassle. Thank you to the staff at the hospital!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 6 months waiting on urgent surgery and still no contact or appointment. I have moved regions to another dhb to get the surgery. Disgusting treatment of patients, do not get treatment here.
