β β β β β ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS.... broke my wrist in Putaruru at 6.15pm .... drove to Toke Hospital, xray, examination, plaster cast and home by 9pm.
I challenge you to do better in any of our other regional hospitals!!!

β β β β β I went their on 22 October night. I had unbearable pain in my lower tummy. When I went to gate I met nurse I told her that I had big surgery last month can you plz give me bed to lay ( as I had 3.5 kg tumour, hernia and gave birth to baby at a same time). One nurse agreed but other one refused. Then in waiting room I lay down on floor. I had lots off vomiting and I was dying with pain. Other patients did request to see me first but no one even came to me. I know itβs covid time but please donβt ignore your patients. I left my 6 weeks new born with my husband at home she is on breastfeeding. In this situation I did wait their for 2 hours afterthat I did call to my surgical doctor in Waikato hospital and told her about my pain. She said (she was at home but she replied me) you should be assessed by someone as soon as possible. She made arrangements for me their so that I can go directly to ward without long waiting as per my situation. Then after tests they found I had appendix and did another surgery at a time.
I went too many times in tokoroa emergency but my experience is always bad. Plz we r paying tax, we r coming to you only when we have some issues. Treat your patients like human beings. No doubt you have shortage of doctors but as I had unbearable pain nurses should come to me.??????
