The accommodation is really spacious, and feels like good value for money. The setting can be very beautiful, in nature and in design. The room is cold in the winter, and the heater doesn't really do much, but electric blankets are provided and the shower in room 11 was fantastic if you like hot water and firehoses, if a bit short if you are 6ft. The biggest downside here is that the rooms are not soundproof at all, you can easily overhear any normally voiced conversation in a joining rooms, which was both a hindrance for our conversation with each other, and a distraction from your neighbors, and could really affect your sleep. We got relatively lucky, but I could see having rowdy neighbors would spoil your stay. There are also skylights in the room which make for nice light levels during the day but don't have any curtains so they wake you up quite early. Good if you want to make the most of your stay by waking up naturally at the crack of dawn. Bad if you're a night owl or had a bad night's sleep and want to sleep in. Good wifi. Good facilities. It was nice having a kitchen and lounge to use. Slightly eccentric aesthetic, but it was enjoyable. Great food at the restaurant. Plenty of parking, easy to find, friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here again, but I'd bring earplugs just in case and remember a sleepmask. The soundproofing is the biggest thing to be worried about if you stay here. You're not paying hotel prices, so don't expect hotel quality and you'll be very satisfied.

Loved the decor in main reception and dining area definitely but unfortunately we found the room a little ehhh. New beds required there for sure. Set up wasn't much. Average room. Lovely owner though

Glorified camp ground Stayed 2 weeks ago for work. I couldn’t reach them by phone although I tried several times throughout the day for over 2 weeks, the rooms are noisy one has louvres above the door and the other room had such thin walls. It rained which I normally love but not with blocked gutters or down pipes. I had to leave a note for the cleaners to wipe the mildew of the bathroom ceiling and remove the spiderweb above the door (I use work hospitality, I’m not picky there are bare basic standards). My food was ruined by fridge being turned to lowest setting (I had already turned it up). The kitchen doesn’t have a stovetop or oven. The BBQ was crusted with old food and there’s no table to set things to cook at it. Really didn’t like that they leave recycling and rubbish until it’s completely full then take it into the paddock to burn. (Recycling is a waste of time, research where the waste actually goes. I’ll give you a hint, it’s not “our” backyard) To top it off $12 double shot Jameson. I go to the Hotel now, 4 shots for extra $3.

Food was good. However portions were inconsistent and menu was somewhat misleading. Service left a lot to be desired. Waitress was brash and seemed to be in a hurry or just grumpy. Long wait time for drinks and food with a lot of staff working and few diners. We were not checked on during the meal for extra drinks or sauce. Some advice - don't assume women are pregnant and ask women when their baby is due.

Little to no motivation to cook a feed after a big day of work in the bush, we decided to take a long shot and check the last resort to see if the kitchen was still open. Hopes weren’t high with how late we had arrived but we were greeted with 10 star service. Best feed I’ve had in a long time not to mention the best hospitality I’ve seen in a long time as well. They went well and truly out of their way to sort us out. Will be making the last resort my first resort every time! Thanks everyone working that made our evening.

Fantastic accommodation very affordable, but the heart of this place has to be the restaurant. Simply the best food that we’ve encountered when travelling the west coast and we are those awkward vegan. Friendly staff awesome chef’s and I what a fantastic location to visit.

Had the big breakfast with scrambled eggs and a very delicious large mocha. My wife had the pancakes with berry compote that she enjoyed. Great friendly service and the food was great. Definitely would recommend eating here if you are in the area.

Lovely arrival. Dinner was very nice. Room was a bit budget for 130.00 There was cob webs in the door way and ceiling. nothing mentioned in regards to our anniversary that I had emailed about!!! No sleep every 15minutes a humming sounds would start up and sounded like wind whooshing though a pipe it was horrible. Got up for a shower and after 2 minutes it went cold! Let it run for at least 10minutes then the handy man arrived 25minutes later to replace the gas to tell us there was hot water! went to reception and they told us this was on us and our fault. We were offered a bowl of Cereal and a coffee to make up for this. Such a shame I enjoyed my time here last time. I won't be coming back and I will no longer recommend it after how that was handled. We spent a lot of money there for our room and in their restaurant just to get no sleep and no shower. left very very upset.
