β β β β β As other comments have already pointed out the facilities are very, very run down. The bathrooms are very old. The lounge and dining room feel damp and dusty even on a summer day. With very old, worn furniture. If you suffer from respiratory allergies avoid at all cost.
The caretaker (female) was unpleasant and rude. There also is no shade so being in a tent during the day is impossible.
The place seems more suited for campervans that don't need the facilities or shade.
There is a nice pool table and a game of darts. And there is an oven which is great.
Overall would not stay again and instead recommend the incredible campground at the beach 20 minutes north of this one.

β β β β β Great place here. A good price and you can use the kitchen free of charge when you camp! Has a great pool table as well!
The owner is really friendly and it's really chilled out there, I'd recommend to all!

β β β β β So relaxing and near town. River behind, beach a short bike ride away and a key to the school swimming pool. Lovely facilities and even lovelier hosts!

β β β β β Leslie and Colin are friendly wonderful people.We were invited for Xmas dinner at NO cost couldnβt believe it! The camp ground is great, facilities are good even has a pool table, dart board . Everything you need is there. Not far from the 4 square and even closer to the Hotel and the locals who I may say were warm and welcoming. Thankyou Leslie and Colin for making our holiday awesome.
